Last Train to Nibroc
by Arlene Hutton
June 14-17, 2017
In December 1940, an eastbound cross-country train carries the bodies of the great American writers, Nathanael West and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also on board is a young woman named May, who shares her seat with a charming military pilot, Raleigh. Religious and bookish, May plans to be a missionary, while Raleigh has just been given a medical discharge and, inspired by West and Fitzgerald, is heading to New York to be a writer. Their initial meeting, and subsequent attempts at romance over time, are funny, touching, and heartbreaking at moments. Last Train to Nibroc bowed to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Off-Broadway, leading NYTheatre.com to proclaim it “A blissfully sweet romantic play quite unlike the typical fare offered in theatres these days.”

Have a Nice Day! (The ‘70s Musical Flashback)
by Rick Lewis
June 21-July 1, 2017
Have a Nice Day! is an affectionate parody of "Up with People," the conservative youth musical organization that toured across high school and college campuses during the '60s and '70s. Kitt, Lori-Ann, Ronda, Holly and Brian are on the final farewell performance of Have a Nice Day, having spent the better part of the last five years "helping America smile!" Performing songs from 1968 through 1974, the group brings life to many songs you thought you had forgotten. Have a Nice Day! is a fun, musical piece of psychedelic bubblegum!

Tomorrow Morning
Book, music and lyrics by Laurence Mark Wythe
July 5-15, 2017
Two couples, separated by a decade, are facing major life events. Jack and Catherine, who are in their late 30s, are getting divorced. John and Kat, in their 20s, are getting married. Tomorrow Morning is a hilarious and moving musical, beautifully composed and constructed, that appeals to different generations - to anyone who has ever been in a relationship that ends when they thought it would last forever, and for anyone who has ever contemplated sharing the rest of their life with someone else!

Love, Linda (The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter)
Music and lyrics by Cole Porter
Book by Stevie Holland, with Gary William Friedman
July 19-29, 2017
On the occasion of the 125th birthday of Indiana native son, Cole Porter, Canterbury presents this tour-de-force show in which Linda Lee Thomas (Mrs. Cole Porter), candidly recounts, through song and story, her life’s journey with one of America’s most beloved composers. Linda takes us behind the glitter of their sensational social life, sharing intimate, and at times, painful moments, such as the dashed dreams of having a child, Cole’s occasional hurtful sexual escapades, his crippling horse accident and her own failing health. Musical numbers include So In Love, I Love Paris, My Heart Belongs to Daddy, Night and Day, and Wunderbar, in addition to lesser-known gems, such as When A Woman’s In Love!

The Haunting of Hill House
by F. Andrew Leslie, from the novel by Shirley Jackson
August 3-5, 2017
A chilling and mystifying study in terror in which a small group of "psychically receptive" people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding, mid-Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and "contained ill will." Led by the learned Dr. Montague, who is conducting research in supernatural phenomena, the visitors have come to probe the secrets of the old house and to draw forth the mysterious powers that it is alleged to possess—powers which have brought madness and death to those who have lived there in the past! .
